"This restaurant had the most warmth and flavor we’ve found in the city so far. Fantastic food, charming vibes, and everyone was so genuine. A gem in a sea of tourist traps. A must!"

"The food was pretty good. A little underseasoned, but luckily there was salt on the table. The server offered me a drink as I sat down, which I hadn't ordered. I thought it was complimentary. I accepted and was charged for it. I guess it's my fault for not speaking better Spanish. The waiter later offered me a shot of mezcal as an apology. Overall, a reasonably nice experience."

"Cannot say enough good things about Fonda Fina. This was probably the best dinner we had in mexico and so affordable. Everything was traditional dishes only elevated to the next level. Best Octopus I've ever had. We had the Pork Belly Sopes (Amazing), the Beet & Hibiscus Carpaccio, Roasted Chicken, and the Arrachera Steak. Everything was fantastic. Service was great, cocktails were really good, highly recommend the Mezcal Negroni and the El Pepino."

"This small an cozy place is one of the best gourmet fundación can find in Mexico. The food is not onlw delicious, but also very well presented. We love the appetizers, especially the shrimps. The grill octopus was only comparable to one that we ordered in a Spanish restaurant in the past. Love to come again!"

"Incredible service from the second we showed up, everyone was so welcoming and also accommodating to the vegan in our party. The cocktails were amazing, and the food was just as good! Also there were English menus for us to use. We absolutely will be back!"

"Loved the creative, modern twist on Mexican cuisine here. Every dish is beautifully plated and genuinely delicious — the mole is a highlight. The wine is also quite nice. It’s a bit on the pricier side for Mexico City (and you’ll notice a lot of tourists), but I think it’s worth it for such a tasty meal in a comfortable, well-designed space."
